CAMH patients took centre stage at the annual Suits Me Fine fashion show in May — an uplifting showcase of recovery hosted by fashion icon Jeanne Beker. Patients modeled outfits from the Suits Me Fine Boutique, which has been providing clothing to CAMH patient shoppers free of charge for 20 years. Sophie Gregoire Trudeau paid a virtual visit to this year’s show, the theme of which, “This is me!”, celebrated individuality.

CAMH welcomed nearly 750 guests to UnMasked, our signature mental health fundraising event taking place in 22 art galleries across Toronto. The more than $1 million raised through this year’s event support the hospital’s life-saving work, including the continued redevelopment of our patient facilities to support recovery-based care.

CAMH opened its new Office of Family Engagement in a dedicated, welcoming space for family members to find information and make connections. Described as a “lifeline and refuge” for patients’ families, the office represents an important deepening of CAMH’s commitment to creating partners-in-care, regarding families as key allies in the recovery journeys of our patients.
